The planetary sequence uses a closed number system of 0 (zero) to 6 (six). 0 (zero) is the same as 7 (seven), both representing Saturn Planet. Rahu is not part of the planetary sequence. It is used in place of Mercury for Wednesday Evening born.

To get the next planet number, add 3 to the previous planet number. In other words, get the third planet from the current planet.
